Storyline: In celebration of Black History Month, this musical adaptation conceived, directed and choreographed by Mike Malone is a new setting of James Weldon Johnson's classic contribution to the rich heritage of the old time black preacher. Mike Malone of Washington, DC's, Howard University and Ellington School for the Arts has set these deeply poetic and moving sermons, some of which are still used today, to an exciting original score, stunning costumes and vibrant choreography.
